Every year, sometime in spring, the trout seem to finally wake up and start a first great feast. <\/strong>When that is, can hardly be predicted… it probably depends on water flow, temperature, hours of sunlight and the general course of the past winter. This feast has not yet come, and at the moment each fish still has to be earned through patience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

steel-blue cheeks and a golden-orange body… it cannot get any better!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

But yesterday, in the evening hours, I was lucky to catch a good fish. A cast downstream and across, close to the undercut bank was immediately answered by a heavy pull… The intense headshakes left no doubt, that I had finally hooked a good fish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The moment, when after several powerful flights a wonderful fish slips into your net, is unbeatable. With steel-blue gill plates and an orange sheen on the body, this brown trout was exordinarily beautiful! Nothing surpasses the joy of such moments!
