When such an old fish appears from the deep, in a spot which is easily accessable and very frequently fished, it is hard to believe how it was possible to fish past this huge fish for all this time! I have fished this spot many times myself, but never caught anything of these dimensions… This fish is very obviously old, with overlarge crooked fins, a huge head and a mouth almost like a pike. And if such an old animal can live in this spot, what else is there in the depths of this creek?
And what is most crazy about this entire thing, is that this fish was caught by an 8-year-old. He asked me if he might try a few casts aswell? I gave him my rod, thought it would be no big deal, and all the rest you see in the pictures…
