This knife has one of the most beautiful blades I ever made, the fine damascus pattern consists of roughly 600 layers.

The three kinds of steel used in the mix do not only look great, but make up a truely high performance steel concerning sharpness and edge stability. All forging was done (as always) with a handheld hammer in a coal forge, completely without the use of power tools. The process of forging is therefore considerably slower, but therefore produces a unique, lively pattern which cannot be achieved with a power hammer.
For the handle, I chose two of the hardest and most precious woods: ebony and pink ivory. The latter is also known as the wood of the kings, because among Zulu people, only members of the royal were allowed to possess it. All metal parts both on the handle and the sheath are copper-tin-bronze (CuSn8).

The general shape of the knife is slender, with a blade which can be used universally, for everything from hunting, fishing, hiking and many other outdoor activities.
The hand-sewn leather sheath is made from high-quality Italian leather from the tannery “Ruota”. With its elegant and smooth surface, it matches well the shape and style of the knife handle. The knife sits deep and secure in the sheath
